Congratulations! So you've decided to have a Skype Class!!
Now that You've Made a Date and Scheduled a Time with your Independent Beauty Consultant, you want to create a GUEST LIST.
WRITE down the names of EVERYONE whom you can think of who is Over Worked & Under Pampered! That's Right--EVERYONE!
NOW Invite them! You'll receive a script that you may want to use via email from your Independent Beauty Consultant. You may choose to use that.
Make sure they are clear on the time of your class & the date of your class. Your Independent Beauty Consultant will go over that with you when you speak.
You can choose to have as many people as your table will hold, we'd suggest 6-8 people.
Once you have your guest list of everyone who said yes to the date & time you set up with your Independent Beauty Consultant, you will give her that list.
She needs to be able to contact your guests so that she may find out their skin type, any concerns that they have including allergies, and preferences of product that they may have.
Once she gathers this information, she will create a package to mail to you in the mail.
GATHER MIRRORS:
When you meet with your Independent Beauty Consultant in person--she would bring mirrors with her to the class, however because you are having a virtual class via Skype, you need to round up a mirror for every 2 people that are coming. Compact mirrors are just fine as are a hand mirror that can be passed around.
A FEW DAYS BEFORE YOUR CLASS:
Your package will include a bag for each guest with their names on that bag. Each bag includes customized skincare and other products that your guest will need to participate in the class. Each package will also include a recyclable plastic tray and a paper place mat for each guest.
This is also a great day to make a TEST Call to your Independent Beauty Consultant & figure out where your computer and your webcam should go. Also to make sure there is not any trouble with each of your equipment. If there is, it gives you each time to find a solution.
DAY OF THE CLASS:
Approx 30 minutes prior to the class, you'll want to do the following:
Set out a cereal bowl next to each guest's place, place the plastic tray at each spot, set up a mirror for every person (or every 2 people if you need to share).
Keep the place mats to the side, you'll need to have them at the very end of the class.
Approx 15 minutes prior to the class beginning, your Independent Beauty Consultant will call you and go through the format of the class quickly as well as she may have a few questions for you prior to your class.
REFRESHMENTS:
Offer VERY simple refreshments, a picture of iced tea or lemonade or simply cans of pop. If you want to offer food, we'll suggest you offer it for AFTER the class is over & once the SKYPEYOURSKINCARE is complete, you are free to party it up with your friends afterwards.
FORMAT of CLASS:
We will start the class on time and I will start the class by explaining who I am, why I like doing what I do and explain how to unpack the skincare package.
We will try the products in steps as I guide yourself and your guests.
A class takes approx 1 hour including set up and consultations.
After we are finished with the group skincare trial, I will instruct you that now would be a great time, to move your guests into the other room (away from the camera) & start individual consultations.
Each guest consultation takes approx 3-5 minutes a piece.
After I speak with each person individually, I speak with you. I will ask you the same 4 questions that I asked your guests and if you wish to take advantage of the hostess gifts that you qualify for.
END OF THE CALL:
When we are finished, simply hang up, and recycle the trays and applicators. Dispose of the garbage & put your bowls in the dishwasher! Sit down and enjoy some quality time with your guests!
ORDERS:
Orders will be processed as fast as possible and then mailed directly to your address. You will be responsible for making sure your friends receive their order. I will provide a list to you of which guest ordered what product so you can make sure everyone has the correct products.
HOSTESS CREDIT:
This is individually set by your Independent Beauty Consultant. She will email you personally with that information and you will also learn it the day of your skincare class.
